Sounds from the monitor...

I am enjoying the quiet sounds of the house. My mom is in her room and my dad is down in the basement. The babies are napping. Or at least they were. Someone or some two are awake. No need to get them yet but just listening to them is fun. I know it's the girls. They whisper to each other but only they know what they are saying. They pant as they play with a toy...a blanket... a binky in their crib. At least the jumping in the bed hasn't started. That is usually saved for going to bed. All of this is with the soft melody of Rock-A-Bye baby playing in the background. Next is the shaking of the the crib bars. It's almost time. Soon they will start calling out Ma ma ma ma ma ma.....or screeching. Whatever suits their mood. Quiet crib time lends to practicing their sounds that will become words that what we will soon recognize and understand.
And the boy sleeps through it all. Good man.

LOL! How fun it must be to listen in on their "conversations"!! Carter is pretty much all about the crib toys. The more crib toys he has, the longer we get to stay in bed in the morning!
