6 weeks old already

Alaina, Kiera and Liam turned 6 weeks old yesterday. Will the rest of our lives go by this fast - I sure hope not. I tjust reminds you to enjoy every moment of every day since they are gone in a blink of an eye.
They are already getting so big. Liam and Alaina have already had thier 1 month checkups this week and Kiera goes on Monday. Liam, who weighed 4lbs 3oz at birth, is now 7lbs 6oz. Alaina who weighed 4lbs 8oz at birth is now 7lbs 13oz.
We haven't seen any voluntary smiles from them yet but we are getting close! All we've seen are the dreaming and gas smiles but biy are they beautiful.

The past two days I hadn't gotten as much sleep as I had hoped and last night after a long day at work, Michael did the 6pm to 1am feedings for me. I went to bed at 6pm last night and didn't have to get up until 4am this morning! I feel like a new woman! Thank you Michael!

Michael's Aunt Susan is out visiting us from California for 3 weeks and will be helping us out around the house with small projects and chores. All the things we haven't been able to get to! Shelves need to be hung in the nursery and all the baby clothes need to be gone through again and sortd by season and size. Need to make more room in the cabinets too so unused items will be packed away.

Well, it's feeding time in 15 minutes already and I need to eat a quick breakfast. Hopefully I may have a moment this weekend to post some new pictures. I took a really funny one of Alaina yesterday.l After I bathed her I put on a hat. A couple hours later AI took it off and all of her hair was standing on end and she was crying. Sad but funny!

Yes, time flies far too fast in with kids. Some days I just wish I could hit a "pause" button & enjoy the time more! I can't wait to see new photos - no pressure. ;-)
