Yup, that's right. Trio of trouble are now 14 months old! Liam has been walking for quite sometime now. His crawling will creep back once in a while, especially when he's tired and falls down. The girls have shown no interest in solo walking - until the other day. About a week ago Alaina took her first few solo steps. She was so graceful and proud of herself. Such a modest girl! Kiera - could care less about it all. The poor girls have raw knees from all their super speed crawling!
Last night was a milestone. Alaina has been more daring with taking her steps and last night she walked across the entire kitchen floor! The night before Kiera was in the living room and decided to do a downward dog yoga move (they definately didn't get their flexibility from their mother) and proceeded to stand and take 4 steps like it was nothing. She again took about 4 to 6 steps on her own last night right after Alaina did her kitchen floor march.
For months they have been cruising and their favorite past time is to see how far they can push the highchairs.
They are so dainty and graceful when they "fall". Liam walks into everything and falls hard.
We are so proud of the girls (of course Liam too) and hope to catch this on video (if I can find the camera).
