31 weeks tomorrow! (10/17/08)
Every day we keep reaching another milestone. We were told by another triplet mom that every day in the womb equals 2 less days in the NICU.
Today's appointment and growth check was fine and uneventful. The babies didn't gain as much weight as I had hoped but it looks like Kiera is catching up a bit. They all (estimates) weigh 3lbs 4oz now. They are still in the average range so we aren't worried.
I've had a chronic stuffy nose for over 3 weeks now and it's so annoying. Hopefully it will clear up at some point. Michael says I've been snoring but apparently long before the pregnancy. Wish he told me a long time ago!
The doctors have told us that the average time to deliver triplets is at 32 weeks. Things have been going so well I think we'll make it to our goal of 35 weeks. I did change it to 36 weeks but when I have a not-so-good day, it goes back to 35 weeks. That's only 4 weeks from now. Holy crap!
We are working on getting the house bundled up now. The boiler from 1950-something is in the process of being replaced and our new replacement windows for the living and dining rooms should be here shortly. Michael and I can live with the heat turned down at night but with three little newborns soon to be residing here, we need to kick it up a notch and try to make the house weather tight.
The nursery is coming together too. Liam's clothes are pretty much situated now and Alaina and Kiera's clothes need to be resorted with their PJ's moved to the changing table/bureau. Stay tuned for nursery pictures once we get it finished.
I'll post the pictures from today as soon as I get them scanned but they aren't the best ones. It's getting so tight in there it's hard to get some good ones now.
The babies are moving around so much now it's amazing. Michael says it's like watching the underside of a trampoline. Good analogy!
Take care and be well everyone!

Yes - the underside of a trampoline! I can only imagine. One was sometimes hard enough but three of them in there vying for space? Yikes! So glad you are doing well & you've made it so far!!! Can't wait to hear of their arrival!!! ;-)
CONGRATS! You are truly blessed!!!!
I know how much my ONE is moving around, so I bet a trampoline is pretty accurate. I'm so happy for you!!! I'm sooo looking forward to seeing pics of them outside too, but the ultrasound pics are just precious!
MY EYES HAVE BEEN DRY FOR A WHILE NOW BUT HERE I SIT...CHECKING OUT THE BLOG...OK, SHOWING OFF TO MY COWORKERS!!! AND I'M GETTING A LITTLE TEARY. I CAN'T BELIEVE ONCE UPON A TIME THIS WAS JUST A WISH AND NOW IT'S A DREAM COME TRUE!!!! I LOVE YOU GUYS AND CAN'T WAIT TO MEET THE LITTLE TRIO. MICHELLE
Hi Deanna,
I was asking Kerri about you the other day. You seem to be doing excellent! Good luck with everything and congratulations! I am delivering on Wednesday due to complications, I'll be 36 weeks and 1 day. Hopefully everything is fine with our little girl! Can't wait to meet your triplets!
