15 Weeks

June 27, 2008
The babies are growing! I think at this point I have felt flutters but not too frequently. It doesn't feel like gas like many people say but more like little muscle twitches.

Their bones are beginning to develop and be seen on the ultrasounds. They are looking more and more like babies each visit.
For many weeks now I was convinced we were having two boys (identical) and a girl. Something kept telling me that's what they were going to be. Was it motherly instincts kicking in? I was also sure that there would be two genders.

My doctor's visits are every two weeks and I have ultrasounds at each visit. Although I may not always come home with pictures. This week we are in luck! Take a look below. This week Michael went with me since there was a good chance we would find out the gender(s) of the babies. Even if we could find out one, we would be happy since then it would only be two more weeks until we could find out the others.

Baby A:

Baby B(with Baby A's head in view):

Baby C:

Baby C's gender shot:

So my motherly instincts were not totally wrong but quite off. The technician was 99% sure Baby C was a boy. After looking at the "gender" shot, Michael and I were 100% sure. She wasn't 100% sure the other two were girls but was somewhat confident. I was since they didn't have the "Big Boy Part's" like Baby C.

Some really good news came out of this appointment. The ultrasounds showed that the fluid in Baby B had disappeared. The doctor was pleases and seemed even a little surprised that things are looking good. Since Michael and I had made the decision to let things be, we were thinking very positive about it all. Maybe it had something to do with it?
